Florida Apartment Owner is recognized as a top employer for the fourth year by the Tampa Bay Times
American Landmark Apartments, a multi-family community owner/operator continues its track record of workplace excellence
Tampa, FL – American Landmark Apartments, a company that owns and manages a proprietary multi-family portfolio throughout the Southeastern U.S., has won the Tampa Bay Times’ prestigious Top 100 Workplaces designation for the fourth year in a row.
The company, along with their investor partner, Electra America, uses the acronym REM for their conjoined efforts. REM owns and manages multi-family properties in several locations in Florida and other locations in Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, Texas and Virginia. Located in the Westshore business corridor in Tampa, they have 97 employees in Tampa Bay and 400 team members in total.
The company’s COO, Kristi King, was recently asked about the reason for this repeated recognition. “It’s our culture - we value our employees and we respect their opinions,” she said. “Almost every one of the people in the corporate office has worked on site at a property. That’s how we started in this business. We know what it’s like to work in one of our communities like The Preserve at Tampa Palms in North Tampa. We are growing at lightning speed, and we couldn’t do it without great people on our teams around the country.”
The company is currently hiring people to fill positions in the corporate office as well as properties they own and manage in Tampa, FL, and other states throughout the Southeast.
