Elizabeth Roy

Chief Investment Officer | American Landmark


Elizabeth Roy serves as CIO of American Landmark, where she leads the firm's investment strategy, capital deployment, and debt management functions. She brings more than 20 years of institutional real estate experience spanning the full capital stack, having acquired, originated, underwritten, and closed over $6 billion of equity and debt transactions.


Prior to joining American Landmark, Ms. Roy worked in the Real Estate Investment Management Team at New York Life Real Estate Investors. Prior to that role, Ms. Roy was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where she originated loans across all major property types for private equity funds, REITs, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices. Earlier in her career, at Bancorp she built a floating-rate loan platform that originated and sold over $3 billion of CRE-CLO eligible mortgages. She began her career in investment banking at Merrill Lynch and Nomura Securities, advising on CMBS transactions and leveraged buyout financings for private equity sponsors.


Ms. Roy holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, where she participated in an exchange program at the London School of Economics, and a BA from Dartmouth College.
