David Deitz serves as Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of American Landmark's West Region, overseeing operations and portfolio performance across Texas, Tennessee, and Arizona. With more than 30 years of multifamily experience, he brings a people-first, data-driven approach to leadership and operational excellence.

Beginning his career as a leasing agent, David has managed properties across 39 states and every multifamily asset class, including market-rate, affordable, workforce, student housing, and single-family rentals. Throughout his career, he has overseen portfolios totaling more than $15 billion in assets under management and over 80,000 homes.

David has extensive experience building and scaling operational platforms for private equity firms, institutional investors, and emerging organizations. His accomplishments include helping grow a startup to a valuation exceeding $3 billion in under four years. He believes that serving others is the foundation of effective leadership and is committed to developing strong teams, driving performance, and creating lasting value.
