Andrew Yam

Sr. Managing Director, Global Head of Capital Markets | American Landmark


Andrew serves as Global Head of Capital Markets at American Landmark and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and Senior Executive Management Committee. He leads global capital generation and the strategic formation of funds and institutional partnerships.


Andrew brings more than 23 years of experience across real estate development, investment banking, private equity, acquisitions, and institutional capital formation. Prior to joining American Landmark, he founded PXPillar Capital, advising real estate investment managers on capital strategy and institutional partnerships.


His previous experience includes roles in real estate private equity at Lehman Brothers, M&A at Citi, evaluating real estate fund managers for Northwestern University’s endowment, and leading a $1 billion portfolio team at Phoenix Property Investors. He later joined Cottonwood Group, executing investments across multiple strategies including value add, opportunistic, credit, and special situations.


Andrew holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, where he was a Toigo Fellow, and a Master’s degree in Real Estate from Harvard University.
